We are now 2 weeks away from the conference on March 26 - 28, 2004

We are trying many new things with this version of the SoutheastCon:

1.	A Pre-college contest "The Walking Robot Challenge"
    https://ewh.ieee.org/cmte/secon04/precollege/index.html  There are 9 teams
    from around Region 3 participating
2.	Wireless access to the internet throughout the convention area.
3.	Electronic Schedules and Updates

    https://ewh.ieee.org/cmte/secon04/eventsschedule/index.html will be
    online as well as in Kiosks around the convention site.

Registration for the conference looks promising so attendance should
be good.  As it has been in the past few years corporate sponsorships
have been low.  But we have several small sponsors and exhibitors.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone in Greensboro at the end of
the month
