Lexington KY Section Report, ExCom 10 October 2011

Initiatives by the Lexington KY Section:
 
Beginning fundraising for the Lexington Section Fund, 
administered by the IEEE Foundation, to benefit K-12 
education activities.
 
Attempting our first dual-site webconferenced meeting on 
October 13.  If successful, could add more remote sites in
the future.
 
Ramping up the Power and Energy Chapter, now holding
technical and planning meetings.  PES has called for 2012
nominations and has a Nominating Committee.
 
Will renew effort to get 12 signatures for Industrial Applications
Chapter.
 
The Section has called for nominations of 2012 officers, and
has a 3-person Nominating Committee.
