1999 EIC Awards

The Engineering Institute of Canada is pleased to announce the 1999 recipients of its honours, awards and fellowships. In keeping with the federation concept and structure, the senior awards of EIC are the highest distinctions awarded by the Institute's Council to members of its technical societies or, in the case of Honorary Membership, to non-engineers. Six senior awards will be presented this year in recognition of outstanding service to the engineering profession. In addition, 15 engineers will be honoured as Fellows of EIC for their exceptional contributions to engineering in Canada.

Two IEEE members were elected to the grade of Fellow for their exceptional contributions to engineering in Canada. They were Dr. Wallas H. Khella and Dr. Vijay K. Sood. The are pictured below with D.Kemp, President IEEE Canada and A.Rollin, President EIC.
