On behalf of the City Council and the people of Ottawa, it is my great pleasure to extend a personal welcome to everyone who has joined us in Canada’s Capital for the Vehicular Technology Conference ‘98.
It is an honour for our City to host delegates from around the world who have gathered here for this special event in our community. I thank you for choosing Ottawa as the site for your 1998 Conference, and commend the host committee for all the work that has been devoted to the organization of this gathering in our city.
