 Keynote Address - Robert Ferchat, Chairman and CEO, BCE Mobile Communications Inc.
Robert Ferchat is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BCE Mobile Communications Inc.
Mr. Ferchat also serves on the board of BCE Mobile’s member companies. With more than 30 years of senior management experience with some of Canada’s leading organizations, Mr. Ferchat was formerly Chairman, President and CEO of TMI Communications for two years. Prior to joining TMI, he held a number of senior management positions at Northern Telecom Limited including Vice President, Controller, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, President of Northern Telecom International and President of Northern Telecom Canada.
The early years of Mr. Ferchat’s career were spent with Ford Motor Company of Canada, where he served in a number of management roles.
Mr. Ferchat is also active in the business community, serving on the boards of several Canadian corporations including Brookfield Homes Ltd., Gennum Corporation, Junior Achievement of Metro Toronto, Hawker-Siddeley Canada Inc. and the Credit Valley Hospital Foundation.
