Enugu State University of Science and Technology

How best would it be for the Enugu State University of Science And Technology, IEEE Student Branch members who began the year with the following words of meditation "The hall mark of engineering is creation" this was one of the subtitles of the lecture "The role and challenges of the engineer in the prosperity and well being of the world" delivered by the 2005 IEEE president Cleon Anderson on his visit to Nigeria for the launching of the IEEE/HP telecenter at University Of Ibadan.

The IEEE ESUT-SB members who were present to receive the IEEE president and also participated effectively in all the programs that took place at the institution, came back challenged. This had led to the following achievements in a very short time:

1) Election of new executives with Augustine C Anene as the Chair,
2) Design and launching of the SB website www.ieee-esut.org
3) Intensive awareness campaigns,
4) Career talks etc
