Inaugural ceremony of the newly formed IIEE-IEEE Student Branch and a seminar on “Industrial Electronics and Process Control”

Inaugural ceremony of the newly formed IIEE-IEEE Student Branch and a seminar on “Industrial Electronics and Process Control” was held at IIEE on August 25, 1999 in collaboration with the Karachi Section of IEEE. The Seminar was chaired by the Chairman of IEEE Karachi Section, Mr. Muhammad N. Sheriff.

In the seminar, papers regarding project works of,

   “PLC Based Tablet Filling Station” by Arshed Majeed, Habib Ahmed, Bilal-ur-Rehman & Farhan Khan of 7th batch,

   “PLC Based Industrial Mixer” by Mr. Muhammad Arsalan, Mr. Muddassir Ilyas Malik, Mr. Muhammad Mansoor & Mr. Zafar Masood of 7th batch,

   “PLC Based Sorting Station” by Faisal Raza, Yasar Noor, Athar Sajjad & Zaid Hanif of 7th batch, and

   “PLC Based Intelligent Lift” by Syed Owais Iqbal, Syed Kamal Haider, Rehan Ahmed & Noman Pirzada of 7th batch,

were presented. Also a paper on “Importance of Simulation Techniques in Process Control System Designing”, by Muhammad Asif Hanif and Syed Muhammad Yasir of 8th batch, was presented in the seminar after the presentations of project work.

Guest speaker at the occasion was Dr. Muhammad Tajammul who also addressed the seminar and explored various industrial applications of LASER in his speech.
