Ammara Masood and Tariq Adnan

Mukhtar Ullah completed his BSc, securing the first position, in Electrical Engineering from N-W.F.P University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar, N-W.F.P, Pakistan in 1999. He then went to the U.K. as a TROSS scholar for higher studies after winning the prestigious scholarship from the ministry of science and technology (MoST), Pakistan. He completed his MSc, with distinction, in Advanced Control and Systems Engineering from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Electronics, at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), Manchester, U.K. in 2002. He then moved to the University of Rostock, Germany as a research associate in the Department of Computer Science. In 2009, he received his PhD in systems biology from the faculty of electrical and computer engineering, University of Rostock, Germany

Ms.Ammara masood and Mr.Tariq Adnan, students of 8th semester, Department of Electrical Engineering, won first prize in competition organized by COMSATS Abbotabad on 12 and 13 May, 2008.The exhibition named “EMCOT 2008” was held nationwide in which 25 public and private universities participated and show-cased their final projects.

Their project “Mobile phone jamming and Anti-bombing technique is aimed to block mobile transmission in sensitive areas where its use is prohibited during emergency

 

 

 

More
