Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering
(SCTCE), is a state Government sponsored engineering college in Trivandrum. It is among the leaders of technical
education in India. Established under the University of Kerala in 1995, with
AICTE approval, it is a college accredited by the National Board of
Accreditation, New Delhi, and ISO 9001:2000 Certification. SCTCE is also
having the privilege of being one of the seven colleges in the state of
Kerala aided under the World Bank funded Technical Education Quality
Improvement Programme (TEQIP).
IEEE in SCTCE
IEEE started off in SCT with the registration of members on 23rd October 2009 with 30 members in its first phase. An IEEE students chapter was formulated and an IEEE student committee was formed. The college and staff have given the chapter, their support to the fullest.
