About Student Branch
IEEE is the world’s largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. The IEEE Student Branch 62851 was inaugurated in the year 2003. The Student Branch gives its members, the opportunity to meet and learn from fellow students as well as from faculty and professionals in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. It also opens a way to participate in National and International conferences and workshops and develops leadership, interpersonal relationship and Team building skills. The IEEE Student Branch also provides way to win various international awards and scholarships. It helps the student members grow personally and professionally

through awards and scholarships. IEEE Student Branch (62851) of St. Xavier’s
Catholic College of Engineering is an active organizational unit that grants
opportunities for the students to grow professionally through active participation in the
IEEE platform. I am contented and proud to be a part of such prestigious professional

Recent Activity
National Engineer's Day
The IEEE Student Branch 62851 of St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering celebrated the Engineer’s Day on 19 th September 2017 at the IEEE Cabin. The event was organized by Ms. W. Mary Ginigo, Secretary of IEEE StB under the guidance of IEEE StB Coordinator Prof. A. Darwin Jose Raju and 36 student members joined in the celebration.
Teacher's Day
On 09 th September 2017, the IEEE WIE StB AG -62851 organized the “Teacher’s Day Celebration” at IEEE cabin in the presence of Prof. A. Darwin Jose Raju, IEEE StB Coordinator, Dr. A. Subitha, Faculty Advisor of IEEE WIE StB AG 62851 and Prof. J. Bright Jose, IEEE StB Counsellor.
