Poster Competition

The poster competition is intended to give students with interests in biomedical engineering an opportunity to showcase work that they’ve done independently, as part of their coursework/thesis, or in a related job. The poster session also gives students a chance to share ideas and invite comments from peers. A cash prize will be offered to the first placed poster entered in the competition.

Design Challenge

For this competition, assigned groups of students are given a biomedical engineering related problem, some appropriate materials, and 2 hours to produce a solution.  The challenge is meant to be fun and explorative, giving students a chance to learn about biomedical problem solving, getting to know each other and having fun at the same time.

Career Symposium

On Friday afternoon, sponsors and other interested agencies are invited to showcase products and come together with students to discuss research and commercial career opportunities in biomedical engineering.
