IEEE programming competition Winners ANNOUNCEMENT
It's the time to know who is the winner!!! 17th April, 2014 was the ceremony day for announcing the winner group in the programming competition. All participants attended and they were very concerned about who the winner group is?? The CIS Department head Ms.Roohi Jan and the CIS coordinator Ms.Fatimah Khan were invited to attend the ceremony with number of faculty members including Dr.Thavavel, MsLayal Khasma, and Dr.Manal Farrag.
The ceremony was started by welcoming the attendees. Then, the club coordinator Ms.Salma Idris was introduced to give the certificates to all participants. Ms.Salma was very proud of the students and appreciated their work and effort in the competition.
At last, Winners' ranks were announced starting from the third place to the first. Places are as following:
• Third Place:
o Lina Al_Hamdan
o Al-Johara Al-Yousef
o Sarah Al-Khaldi
• Second Place:
o Deema Al-Mousa
o Nehal Haleem
o Nouf Al Al-Shake
• FirstPlace!!!
o Hajar Al-Turki
o Latifah Al-Jafar
Lastly, Ms.Roohi Jan was introduced to give certificates and cash prize thousand SR to the First Place Winners. Ms.Roohi congratulated them and she appreciated the efforts done by all participants.
At the end,the students were very pleased with their participation and have shown their interest to participate in other competitions.
