Welcome to IET, Lucknow.....
Institute of Engineering & Technology was
established by the Government of U.P in 1984, for imparting
engineering education and for promoting technological research to
generate suitable technical manpower. The institute is fully
financed by U.P Government and is being administered by the IET
Society (registered under the Societies Act 1860) through its Board
of Governors.
The IET Lucknow, started in November 1984, constituted the Faculty of Engineering and Technology of Lucknow University. Now IET is a Constituent College of GBTU. It offers B.Tech degree in seven branches, namely Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Civil , Mechanical, Chemical , Information Technology and Electronics & Instrumentation and P.G. Program in M.Tech Bio-Technology, M.Tech. Environmental Engineering, MBA & MCA. Presently offers M.Tech Modular Program in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
RAGGING PROHIBITED

RAGGING PROHIBITED
Ragging is prohibited in any of the
hostels and inside or outside the faculty premises.
No student shall indulge himself/herself
or encourage anyone else to participate or conduct ragging of any other
student, either actively or passively.
An F.I.R. under the relevant provisions of law shall be filed with police
against the guilty student and, he/she shall be punished in accordance with
regulations of the faculty/university.
