This 3rd annual meeting is organized by Components Technology Institute Inc. with the cooperation of EIA, IEEE CPMT Society, and IMAPS. There will be seminars, a workshop, and exhibits.
Three seminars will be presented on Sunday to address the critical and unique issues associeted with COTS and PEMs usage in military and space equipment. The three seminar topics are:
1. New Concept for Identifying Best-in-class COTS Suppliers.
2. Unique Problems Associated With the Failure Analysis of COTS and PEMs.
3. Introduction to Radiation Effects in Microelectronics and COTS.
The Exhibit area will be open on Monday and Tuesday from 9AM to 7PM. Lunches and the Reception will be held in the Exhibition area to encourage interaction about the new products and services for military and space applications.
The workshop willhave several keynote talks and 58 presentations in 10 sessions. The presentations provide excelelnt technical data on selection, application, design practices, packaging, testing uprating, radiation hardness, reliability and management practices relative to COTS.
