CARTS-EUROPE 2001

15th Annual European Passive Components Conference

15th - 19th October 2001

Radisson SAS Scandinavia Hotel, Copenhagen, Denmark

"A Conference specifically designed for the Passive Components Industry"

CARTS-EUROPE is the only event in Europe devoted solely to passive electronic components. Now in its 15th year, this five-day event is recognised as the premier forum for the presentation of the latest developments in passive component technology, associated materials, measurement methods and testing techniques. By combining a symposium of topical technical papers, tutorials, seminars and a marketing assessment it has become the major international event in the passive component calendar.

CARTS-EUROPE 2001 is this year's meeting place for the passive components industry. If you are involved with passive components as a user, manufacturer, material supplier, or a researcher, join the rest of the industry in Copenhagen for the biggest CARTS Programme yet!

THREE, ONE-DAY, TUTORIAL SEMINARS address Capacitor and Resistor Construction, Application & Reliability; Conductive Adhesives for Electronics Packaging and Capacitor Measurements & Reliability Assessment. They are intended not only to train new engineers but also to update experienced personnel on passive components and future trends.

THE MARKETING SEMINAR assesses the world markets, together with current and future trends for capacitors, resistors, integrated passive components and their associated materials with projections to 2005.

THE SYMPOSIUM SESSIONS include over forty invited and submitted technical papers on a wide range of subjects such as: Applications & Performance, Test & Reliability, Design & Construction and Materials & Processes.

THE EXHIBITS provide important technical and application information on products and services. Exhibit facilities will be available all day on Wednesday and Thursday and during the Reception. For further details please contact the CARTS-EUROPE office, Tel:+44 1892 660361 or Fax:+44 1892 655581.

THE "GET TO KNOW YOU" RECEPTION on Wednesday evening is again this year generously hosted by dmc2. Take the opportunity to network with your fellow Delegates in an informal atmosphere. The spouses of Delegates are especially welcome.

ADVANCE REGISTRATION by 14th September is strongly recommended for the Seminars. There is a reduced fee for Advance Registration for both the Seminars and the Symposium. The Symposium fee includes two lunch’s, all refreshment breaks and a copy of the Proceedings. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after 14th September, but substitutions may be made at any time. For cancellations received before 14th September an administration fee of £100.00 will be charged and a copy of the Symposium Proceedings or Seminar Notes (as applicable) will be sent. Registrations are only accepted on the basis that ECII Ltd. reserve the right to change the programme without notice.

IMPORTANT: All Registrations from within the European Union MUST include the VAT Reg.No. of the Delegates company or organisation.

SEMINAR FEES The three One-Day Seminar fees include lunch, refreshment breaks and comprehensive notes. The Marketing Seminar fee includes a refreshment break and comprehensive notes.

"WONDERFUL COPENHAGEN" - where Europe and Scandinavia meet - is Danish conviviality and Old World charm rolled into one! This is a compact city with cobbled pedestrian streets that allow the visitor to enjoy "Wonderful Copenhagen" at their leisure. Stroll beside the canals. Visit the Tivoli Gardens, one of the world’s best-loved amusement parks – with its open-air entertainment, music and restaurants. And of course you must make a pilgrimage to the statue of the Little Mermaid.

THE CONFERENCE VENUE is the Radisson SAS Scandinavia Hotel, just a few minutes walk to the centre of old Copenhagen and only 15 minutes from Copenhagen International Airport by SAS Airport Bus or Taxi. There is also ample free parking. The Hotel boasts four restaurants;- International, Japanese, Thai and the unique "Top of the Town" Restaurant on the 25th floor with views extending as far as Sweden. And if you are feeling lucky there is always the Casino Copenhagen at lobby level for a little game of chance. Sleeping Rooms have been provisionally reserved at special rates for CARTS-EUROPE Delegates. The cut-off date for these special rates is 15th September. Make your reservations early and directly with the Hotel using the Hotel Reservation Form provided or by quoting A1410P.
