IEEE CPMT Bangalore  Chapter Starts India in IT Hardware

CPMT Bangalore Chapter's  launch in December sets the stage for India to go from Design to Developement and ultimately to IT Manufacturing.
India  has been well known, outside India, as the software capital of the world but not so well known for other IT technologies. It is  becoming  a major  player in hardware design  as well as in IT services. India is clearly poised to go beyond these to include hardware. CPMT Chapter with its focus from Design to hardware technologies to manufacturing will energize to make India a more complete global player in hardware, software, services and applications in decades ahead".
