Chapter Chair Luncheon
The annual Chapter Chair Luncheon was well attended in Portland during the IEEE EMC Symposium. Organized by the Chapter Coordinator, Francesca Maradei of the University of Rome “La Sapienza” (seated center), the luncheon provides a unique forum for chapter chairs to share “best practices” and hear first hand news about the EMC Society. In attendance this year were (front row from left), Janet O’Neil (EMC 2007 Symposium Chair), Jim Blaha (Milwaukee), Harry Gaul (Phoenix), Ms. Maradei, Bob Berkovits (Baltimore), Mike Oliver (Pittsburgh), Irina Kasperovich (Mohawk Valley) and Boris Shusterman (Central New England). Middle row from left are John Osburn (Fort Worth), Erping Li (Singapore), Heyno Garbe (Germany), Shuichi Nitta (Japan), Roy Ediss (UK and Ireland), Dave Dixon (Boston), Scott Lytle (SE Michigan) and Glenn Shelby (Huntsville). Back row from left are Elya Joffe (Israel), Kye Yak See (Singapore), Ray Adams (Los Angeles), Mark Montrose (Santa Clara Valley), Fred Heather (Washington/Southern Maryland), Robert Tozier (Orange County), and Jack Black (Chicago).
