The Advisory Committee on EMC (ACEC) will hold a special workshop
on Monday evening, July 9, following the workshops held that day
at the 2007 IEEE International Symposium on EMC in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Invited speakers will be the chair and secretary of the ACEC as
well as other members of the committee who are in attendance at
the Symposium. They will be chairs or representatives of several
IEC/CISPR and IEC/TC77 subcommittees. The ACEC advises the technical
management of the IEC, which is the Standardization Management
Board. The general theme of the workshop will be to introduce
their work so that EMC Society members and Symposium attendees
can learn about the scope of work of this international committee
and where it interweaves with similar standards activity in the
EMC Society.
Following the close of the Symposium, ACEC itself will meet for
two days on the 14th and 15th of July at the Hilton Hawaiian Village,
the Symposium Host Hotel. This is an open meeting, but seating
is limited. For further information on these two events, please
contact Bill Radasky at wradasky@aol.com
or Don Heirman at d.heirman@ieee.org.
