Plasma Conference Statistics

The Directory of Plasma Conferences contains approximately 120 conferences per year for the past decade, as shown by the figure at the upper right.  The actual number of plasma conferences around the world is unknown but may be as high as 150 annually.   Conferences are predominantly in Europe and North America, with 15 to 20 conferences listed annually in Asia and a few in Africa, Australia, and South America.

The figure at the lower right illustrates the monthly distribution of plasma conferences for the past year.  A more nearly uniform distribution may be helpful to potential conference attendees.
