Companion Program for 2010

East Tennessee is an ideal location for attendees and their families. The area is rich in American history and natural scenic beauty. Companion tours will include several short trips around East Tennessee and Western North Carolina. There will be both social and historic opportunities with visits to Oak Ridge and local museums. Technical tours to Oak Ridge National Laboratory and local companies will also be offered.

Please note:

  • Individual tours are subject to cancellation and refund of tour fees if an insufficient preregistration is achieved prior to October 15, 2010. The fees in the table above will be set in July for early registration. There may be limited late or on-site registration for an additional fee.
  • All tours are going to areas where there are few opportunities to purchase lunch. Consequently either a box lunch or a restaurant lunch is included in the tour fees.
  • Tour programs and hours may be modified due to last minute logistics issues.
  • Each tour will have an experienced tour guide and also a hostess from the Companion Program committee.
