Abstracts

All abstracts must be submitted via the IEEE AIM 2018 website. Abstracts sent via email, fax, or regular mail, will not be processed or acknowledged.

Abstracts must be one page, title, authors, affiliations, references, figures and tables included. Abstracts must be prepared by using this downloadable template. Please carefully follow the instructions included in the template.

Abstracts must be one page long and in A4 page size: files with different sizes will be rescaled to fit an A4 page, but legibility will not be guaranteed.

The final abstract file must be in pdf format and must not be larger than 2 MB. No other file formats are accepted.

Pdf files of accepted abstracts will be collected in the conference Abstract Electronic Book with no further editing. Please make a careful check that title, author names, and affiliations contain no misprints or misspellings, and that you have carefully followed the instructions reported in the template. Corresponding author's email address will be automatically added by the system on your abstract file when the programme is finalised.

Abstracts must be submitted by using the electronic submission form provided on this website (see link below). When filling in the submission form, please:

  • Be sure to provide the correct email address for the corresponding author. This email address will be used in all subsequent correspondence concerning your abstract.
  • Be sure that the abstract title you give in the submission form matches the title in the pdf abstract file.
  • Be sure that the list of authors you provide in the submission form matches exactly the list appearing in the pdf abstract file. This is particularly important because the author list given in the submission form will be used to prepare the program booklet and the authors index.

 

When you are ready, you can proceed with the submission.

You will immediately be informed that your abstract has been successfully submitted by an "abstract successfully submitted" web page. You will not receive further notifications via email. By October 23, you will receive at the email address you have provided during submission the notification of acceptance of your abstract.

Resubmissions of abstracts

Submit your abstract only once. If you need to resubmit a modified version of a previously submitted abstract, please send your modified abstract as email attachment to the conference desk at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
