The IEEE AIM 2018 Conference venue is Hotel Planibel, in La Thuile. A number of hotel rooms have been kept apart for conference participants and will be assigned on a first come first served basis. You are encouraged to book your room as soon as possible.

To book your room at the hotel, please follow this link. In order to have access to the negotiated rate for the conference participants, you must type AIM2018 in the "promo code" field (see figure to the left). The promo code is valid until December 20, 2017. In case of cancellation, the payment is not refundable.

Please note that you will be negotiating the reservation directly with the hotel, IEEE AIM 2018 is not involved in the process.

How to get to La Thuile

La Thuile can be reached by car, bus or shuttle bus from the main airports and train stations in the nearby cities (Genève, Turin, Milan, Aosta, Genova). Indications are available on the La Thuile tourist website and on the SAVDA bus transport company website.

Buses running from Milano Malpensa airport (MXP) to Aosta city centre are available at 50 € round trip. From Aosta city centre, connections are available to Courmayeur (timetable) and from there to La Thuile (timetable). Taxis are also available from Courmayeur.

In addition to public transportation, for those arriving by plane either at Milano Malpensa (MXP) or Torino Caselle (TRN) airports, a shared shuttle service can be arranged, that costs approximately 100 € (two-way ticket) from Malpensa and 75 € (two-way ticket) from Caselle per person (8 persons on each shared shuttle). If you plan landing in one of these two airports, please contact us at your earliest convenience with your flight number and day and time of arrival, and we will organise the transportation.
