All participants to IEEE AIM 2018 who have shared with us their plans to submit a manuscript to one of the following journals are invited to proceed, within March 15, 2018 (unless otherwise stated). The review standards mirror those used for regular articles in the same journals. Each submitted manuscript must be co-authored by a registered participant in IEEE AIM 2018, and each registered participant cannot submit more than one manuscript. The publications committee will check conformity to these rules.

Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials and Physica B

You may submit your manuscript as a regular article. There is no specific category for IEEE AIM 2018. In the cover letter, specify that the paper has been presented at IEEE AIM 2018. There are no page limits.

IEEE Journal of Electromagnetics, RF, and Microwaves in Medicine and Biology

A call for a special Issue of IEEE Journal of Electromagnetics, RF, and Microwaves in Medicine and Biology is now open for Symposium “Biomedical Applications”. Please follow the instructions provided at the link.

IEEE Magnetics Letters

You may submit your four-page paper (plus one additional page allowed for acknowledgments and references), whether contributed or invited, for publication in IEEE Magnetics Letters (IML) any time before the conference until 1 April 2018 April 30th 2018. If you are giving an invited talk, your article should not be a review; rather, it should contain mostly new results, as is appropriate for a letters journal. Templates are available on the journal website.

The regular editors will manage the review process. If your article is accepted, it will be published on-line, in preprint form, immediately after full peer review and your revisions. Several weeks later, it will appear as fully edited and typeset. Each paper will have its own article number and its own dates of submission and publication. IML is known for providing authors with prompt, helpful reviews. There is no charge for publication.

Published articles will have a heading appropriate to the subject and a footnote "IEEE Conference on Advances in Magnetics, 4-7 February 2018, La Thuile, Italy". Except for the footnote, the format of your article will be indistinguishable from that of any other IML article. It will not be part of a conference proceedings. Each article will be open access for anyone for 10 days after publication.

Submit your article online. In Step 1 of the submission process, please select as the Manuscript Type the subject area closest to that of your article. In Step 2, under Conference-Related Articles, please select "AIM - IEEE Conference on Advances in Magnetics".

Published articles will appear on IML website. IML is tracked by all major indexing services, including Web of Science and Scopus. The average time from submission to preprint publication is 4 weeks.
