The IEEE AIM 2018 program co-chairs wants to reward scientific activity performed by young researchers in the field of magnetism.
With this aim, the AIM program committee presents an award addressed to a researcher who has published outstanding research about magnetism and related topics and will present an oral or poster presentation at IEEE AIM2018.

Application process and requirements for YOUNG RESEARCHER AWARD

• Deadline for application is the same deadline as the abstract presentation
• Applicants must be no older than 40 years old at the 4nd of February, 2018
• Applicants should be post-docs (no more that 5 years from the end of PhD)

• Five finalists will be selected by conference chairs supported by a review panel if necessary.
• The five finalists get an award of €100 and has to give a talk at IEEE AIM2018 that will be evaluated by an evaluation commission composed by Dr. Manuel Vasquez (IEEE Magnetic society president), dr. Franca Albertini (President of the Italian association of Magnetism, AIMag), and prof. Takahiro Moriyama (University of Kyoto, Japan). The Commission will evaluate the applicants, based on a set of criteria, clarity to broadband audience, duration of the presentation, clear description of the impact of the work, clear details about the contribution of the presenter.
• The finalist winner will be communicated during the social event on 6th February and will get an award of € 300.

Application process and requirements for Best Poster Presentation Award

This award is open to all the poster presentation at IEEE AIM 2018. There will be two winners be selected by the program committee and the poster session chair. The two finalists get an award of €100.
