The main objective of this workshop is to present the nowadays developments and future trends of the use of robots for space applications in the ESA space programs. The workshop will focus in specific fields of robotic space systems:
- Locomotion for space planetary exploration robots.
- Humanoids in-the-loop control for guidance and navigation.
- Humanoids robotics component verification on ISS.
- Active debris removal with robots.
- Use of robots for testing, guidance, navigation, and control of space systems.
- The ESA human exoskeleton: Operating in a remote harsh environment.

The workshop will be complemented with the visit to the robotics space laboratory in Tres Cantos in Madrid of GMV´s facility “Advanced robotic testbed for testing of space missions and systems”.
