RAS financial support

RAS and ICRA'07 are providing a number of travel awards to selected RAS students as well as some financial support to assist authors of papers to be presented at ICRA'07. The decisions on assignment of these grants will be coordinated by the General Co-Chair, Alessandro De Luca, and the RAS Vice-President for Membership Activities, Antonio Bicchi.

Travel Awards for IEEE RAS Students

Please submit the application form by 15 February 2007. This required form is for planning purposes. To receive the award, the student must report to the ICRA'07 Registration Chair at the conference site, and show his/her passport and airline tickets. The student must certify that the conference registration and that part of travel expenses covered by the received award are not otherwise covered by university, foundation, or industry funds.

The successful applicant will receive an award of up to 700 USD, for covering the conference student registration fee and as a financial support for the travel costs. The decision will be based on the following criteria:

  1. IEEE RAS Student Member
  2. Author of an accepted paper
  3. Other special motivations provided in the request (e.g., the student is currently living in a developing country).

Financial Support for ICRA'07 Authors

Please submit the application form by 15 February 2007. This required form is for planning purposes. To receive the financial support, the author must report to the ICRA'07 Registration Chair at the conference site, and show his/her passport and airline tickets. The author must certify that the part of registration and travel expenses covered by the received financial support is not otherwise covered by university, foundation, or industry funds.

The successful applicant will receive a financial support of up to 1000 USD for conference registration and travel costs to attend ICRA'07. The decision will be based on the following criteria:

  1. Author of an accepted paper
  2. IEEE RAS Membership
  3. Other special motivations provided in the request (e.g., the applicant is currently living in a developing country).

Note. Applications by students will not be considered. IEEE RAS students wishing to receive financial support should apply for an ICRA'07 Travel Award for IEEE RAS Students.
