Overview of final submission procedures
All types of final submissions (regular or invited papers, possibly accompanied by a short video; and video contributions) to ICRA'07 must be uploaded electronically through PaperPlaza by 31 January 2007.
Final paper contributions consist of a PDF file (max 2 MB) and a single PowerPoint slide for the ICRA'07 Digest. For publication in the Conference proceedings, all accepted papers are limited to six (6) pages in the specified conference double-column format. Authors may upload longer manuscripts up to a maximum of eight (8) pages in total. However, each page in excess of six will incur an overlength charge of 200 USD.
When preparing the final version of a paper, it is important that any critical comments raised in the review process (reviewers' comments and associate editor's summary) are adequately addressed. For the final manuscript preparation, please follow the instructions given in the page on final paper contribution.
For papers originally accompanied by a short video that has been jointly accepted with the paper, the Authors should include this video (max 5 MB) in the final submission material. If there are no changes to the video, there is no need to upload again the file and the original version will be used as final (this can be specified during the final submission procedure in PaperPlaza). For final papers accompanied by a video, also a Summary.txt file and a ReadMe.txt file have to be uploaded. These additional files are needed for the inclusion of the video in IEEE Xplore (a novelty for ICRAs).
Final video contributions (a separate self-contained video without a paper, to be presented at the conference in dedicated video sessions) consist of a mpeg file (max 50 MB), accompanied by a summarizing text of two (2) pages as a PDF file, two additional files (Summary.txt and ReadMe.txt) for IEEE Xplore, and a single PowerPoint slide for the ICRA'07 Digest. Unless special requests were made in the review process, there is no need to upload again the accepted video file and the original version will be used as final (this can be specified during the final submission procedure in PaperPlaza). All PDF files needed in the final submission should be preliminarily checked for IEEE Xplore compliance. This is fundamental for final inclusion in the ICRA'07 Conference proceedings and can be easily done using IEEE PDF eXpress. Instructions are given in the page on using IEEE PDF eXpress.
For any final contribution, you will be requested to fill in a copyright transfer form. This is done within PaperPlaza via an automatic link to the IEEE electronic copyright transfer process (IEEE eCP).

Note. Authors of accepted papers wishing to receive an invitation letter from ICRA'07 (for visa purposes or similar) should request this through PaperPlaza. After logging in, please follow the link "Request an acceptance letter" available in the ICRA'07 workspace of each author. Optional additional information to be included in the letter can be specified as well.
Important things to remember
According to the ICRA'07 registration policy published at the time of initial submissions:
| a) | At least one of the authors listed on a contribution must register for ICRA'07 when the final material is uploaded to PaperPlaza. |
| b) | One registration can be used for upload of at most two contributions and all associated attachments. If you are an author or co-author of a single contribution, your registration cannot be shared or used for uploading someone else's contribution. |
Please, read through in advance the final submission and registration instructions. In particular, remember:
| 1. | Only "corresponding authors" can upload final submissions. If you need to change the corresponding author of a contribution, and the original one is unavailable, please contact the ICRA'07 Program Chair, Bruno Siciliano. |
| 2. | Complete and/or update the full information for all your final contributions before you register for ICRA'07. |
| 3. | At least one of the authors listed on a contribution must register for ICRA'07 in order to upload the final material to PaperPlaza. |
| 4. | With his/her paid registration to ICRA'07, a corresponding author can upload at most two final contributions with all associated attachments. |
| 5. | For your convenience, use the final checklists available here for each category of contributions. |
| 6. | Complete your final submission by 31 January 2007. |
