Exciting videos of 3-5 minutes are sought for the conference's Video Proceedings. A Video contribution should be a standalone representation of technical work that uses narration, captions, video sequences, graphics and animation to explain an idea. It should not require detailed background knowledge or an associated paper in order to be understood. Videos should not have a commercial pitch, should use music sparingly, and the authors must have clear copyright of the audio and visual content.

Videos should be prepared without using "special" codecs (coders/decoders) in order to provide as much portability across platforms as possible. Accordingly, the most common media formats are strongly recommended (mpeg 1 or mpeg 4). Only freely available players (e.g., QuickTime, RealPlayer, Microsoft Windows Media Player, MPlayer) should be required for viewing the video.

All submitted Video contributions are eligible for the ICRA'07 Best Video Award, which will be based on technical and production qualities of the piece.

The Video must be accompanied by a 2-page Summary as a PDF file. The Summary should provide an outline of the work presented, references to papers that provide more details about the work as well as related work.

General information on how to create IEEE Xplore-compatible PDFs by yourself or using IEEE PDF eXpress™ are given in the overview section of the submission policies.

Video contributions are submitted with the Summary through the conference submission website (PaperPlaza). The maximum size allowed for a Video contribution is 50 MB. The file should have the extension mpg.

Questions related to video submissions should be directed to the Videos Chair, Peter Corke.
