Biography

Claire Asher is a freelance science communicator with a PhD in biology. She is public engagement manager for the UK Robotics and Autonomous Systems (UK-RAS) Network, and host of the Robot Talk podcast. She enjoys writing, performing, and presenting science-related content and has appeared on BBC Four (Planet Ant documentary, 2013), BBC Radio Four (Nature Table, 2020 & 2021), and performed at Green Man Festival, Wilderness Festival and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. She has written for New Scientist, BBC Earth, Science NOW, Mongabay and The Scientist, among others.
