It is our pleasure to invite you to participate in the 5^th  IEEE International Conference on Mechatronics, which will be held in Málaga, Spain, on April 14-17, 2009.

The goal of this biennial conference is to provide a forum to discuss the state-of-the-art of mechatronics, to present recent research results and prospects for development, and to stimulate cross fertilization between different fields in this multidisciplinary area.
