MÁLAGA

In addition to a very promising professional experience, ICM 2009 offers the opportunity to explore a vibrant city with 30 centuries of history that boasts pretty streets, leafy boulevards and lush gardens. Birthplace of genius Pablo Picasso, Málaga displays the largest private collection of his works (more than 200 pieces), with all the periods and techniques of the artist. Besides, Málaga is the capital of “Costa del Sol”, a top tourist attraction with charming villages, world-famous beaches, more than 50 golf courses (home to the most prestigious championships), gastronomy, night-clubs, and shopping. By road, it is less than two hours away from the beautiful Andalusian cities of Seville, Cordoba and Granada. Malaga enjoys a pleasant Mediterranean climate all year round.

The average temperatures in Spring range from a high of 18-22 degrees Celsius, with 8.5 average daily hours of sunshine. The low temperatures, usually at night, are between 11 and 15 degrees Celsius. The average rainfall for the Costa del Sol is between 20 and 40 mm in April.
