Registration Fees and Policies

Registration is mandatory for all-conference and workshop participants. MED’19  attendees will be able to register under different registration categories/rates, as shown below. Please note there is a maximum number of final papers covered by one registration of any given type. All amounts are in US Dollars ($).

Registration includes:

  • Full registration: Access to all technical sessions, exhibits, coffee breaks, the opening reception and banquet. It also includes a copy of the conference proceedings.
  • Student/retiree registration: Access to all technical sessions, exhibits, coffee breaks, and the opening reception. It also includes a copy of the conference proceedings. It does not include a banquet ticket that can be purchased separately.

Workshop registration will be open until June 10, 2019.  Workshops that do not meet a minimum number of registrants will be cancelled.

The reception will be held on July 1, 2019, 18:30-21:30, in the conference hotel.
The festive banquet will be held on July 3, 2019, 19:30-22:30, in the conference hotel.

Online registration

MED’19 will have only online registration (advanced/late/onsite), starting April 18, 2019. Personal badges will be provided to identify registered participants. After registration, each registrant will get a code for booking accommodation at the conference venue, the Palm Beach Hotel in Akko, Israel at a reduced rate, pending availability at the time of booking (see the travel and accommodation page on the conference site.)

Cancellation Policy

  • MED’19 is a four day event, starting with Workshop/Tutorial sessions (July 1, 2019), followed by three days of technical sessions (July 2-4, 2019). The cancellation policy is as follows:
    • 60 days or more before MED’19: 100% refund except credit card processing fees
    • 30-59 days before MED’19: 50% refund except credit card processing fees
    • Less than 30 days before MED’19: No refund.
    • There is no refund for registrations used to upload final manuscripts.
  • All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to the conference secretary, Mrs. Mira Aran, mira@ee.technion.ac.il, by the deadlines detailed above. Refunds will be processed only after the conference.
