The IEEE Electric Ship Technologies Symposium (ESTS 2007) will be held from May 21 to May 23 2007 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City, Arlington, Virginia, USA.

Note to Paper Presenters and Panelists -- Panelists Should Provide 15 minute presentations and Technical Paper Presenters Should Prepare 18 minute presentations

Due to a schedule error by the Hyatt,on Wednesday, May 23, ESTS 2007 will be held at the Hilton Crystal City, 2399 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington VA, which is within walking distance from the Hyatt.

SCOPE

The ESTS 2007 is focusing on electric ship technologies in the following areas:

Integrated Electric Power Systems
Systems and Components Specifications
Design Tools for Analysis, Synthesis, Modeling, and Simulation
Electric Propulsion (Machines, Drives, Propulsors)
Electrical Power Conversion, Distribution, and Storage
Power Quality and Impact of Pulsed Power Loads
Protection, Reconfiguration, and Survivability
Tests, Evaluation, and Certification
Electrical Ship Standards

Commercial and military ship end-users, shipbuilders, port operators, classification societies, machinery and equipment manufacturers, research institutes, universities, and others are invited to present their studies, research, designs, and future advances on these subjects. Panel sessions and poster presentations will also be held for these topics.
