A. How to form a new Chapter:

Required for Petition to Form an IEEE Chapter: (1) At least 12 IEEE members' signatures.(The members must be the Society's members)(2) The action has the approval of the Section Executive Committee.

Method:

1.Download Application Form:Chapter petition.doc

2.Read the explanation on the 1st&2nd page,and then fill in the "Chapter Petition" on the 3rd page. **12 Petitioners are required for a Technical Chapter Formation**

3.Mail or Fax to IEEE Tainan Section for Setion Officer's Signature.

4. Tainan Section will help email the completed chapter_petition form to IEEE. A couple weeks later, IEEE will inform chapter the formation of the new chpater via e-mail.

 
 
B.How to get a Senior Member Grade?

Note:The requirements of upgrading are (1)Significant performance in professional experience over a period of at least five years. (2) The references of three IEEE members holding Senior Member Grade.

Guide:

a. Fill in the application form:

2. The reference forms completed by 3 IEEE members who hold Senior Member Grade at least.:sm_ref_form.doc

3. Send documents above via e-mail to senior-member@ieee.org and wait for the outcome
