Speaker's Biography: Todd H. Hubing received the B.S. from MIT in 1980, M.S. from Purdue University, and Ph.D. degree from North Carolina State University in 1988, all in electrical engineering. From 1982 to 1989 he was a Staff Engineer, Electromagnetic Compatibility Laboratory, IBM Communications Products Division, Raleigh NC . Since 1989 he has been an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Missouri-Rolla. He published extensively in the area of EMI/EMC and he is the principal investigator in UMR EMI Expert System Consortium, sponsored by Intel, Sun Microsystems, Caterpillar, NCR, Chomerics, Hewlett-Packard, Incases, and Viewlogic.He is a senior member of IEEE and EMC Society Distinguished Speaker in 1996-7. Dr Hubing received numerous awards such as IEEE Electromagnetic Compatibility Society Certificate of Appreciation - 1996, IEEE Electromagnetic Compatibility Society Certificate of Achievement - 1997. UMR Commendation for Effective Teaching 1994-95, 1995-96, 1996-97, University of Missouri-Rolla Faculty Excellence Award 1992-93, 1993-1994, 1997-1998, University of Missouri-Rolla Outstanding Teaching Award 1991-92.
