CONFERENCE REGISTRATION All information concerning the registration procedure and costs are presented here. On line registrationCOVERING THE EXPENSES FOR PAPER PUBLICATION Do not jeopardize the publication of your work in the proceedings! Please, read carefully the following information concerning the registration procedure that is presented in the author's kit, especially if you are the prospective presenter of an accepted paper or if you need to guarantee inclusion of your accepted paper in the proceedings. No exception is allowed. An accepted paper will be published in the proceedings only if the registration form and the full-fee payment for one of the authors is received and correctly processed Only member or non-member fees are allowed to cover the publication of an accepted paper. Student registration fees cannot be used to guarantee the publication of an accepted paper. If the author registering to cover the paper publication is a student, he has to pay the appropriate member or non-member fee. Members to whom the society bylaws grant special discounts (e.g., Life members of the IEEE) cannot use the discounted rates to cover the publication of an accepted paper: they have to pay the member fee. One author registration will cover the publication expenses of only ONE accepted paper: for each additional accepted paper associated to the same registration, a 50 US$ printing contribution will be charged. In the case no registration has been received and correctly processed to cover the paper publication, the conference organizers will contact the authors before the paper is removed from the proceedings. To cover the registration expenses, authors must use the registration form available in the author's kit. SERVICES AND FEES The registration fees are as follows and must be paid in US dollars:
To qualify for member rates, the membership number must be provided in the registration form. No exception. To qualify for student rates, a copy of the student identification card or an equivalent declaration signed by the institution must be provided with the registration form. No exception. Member and non-member conference registration fees include entrance to all sessions, one copy of the CD-ROM proceedings, coffee breaks, Thursday and Friday lunches, Thursday banquet. Student and IEEE Life Member registration includes one copy of the CD-ROM proceedings, entrance to all sessions and coffee breaks. The following additional items can be also purchased and must be paid in US dollars:
REFUND POLICY Conference registration will not be refunded (in full or partially) if it is required to cover the publication expenses of an accepted paper - no exception, even in the case of denied VISA. Lunch and banquet tickets that are included in the registration fees will not be refunded if not used. Additional lunch and banquet tickets will not be refunded after 07 July 2006. REGISTRATION AND PURCHASE To register and cover the publication erxpenses, authors must use the form available in the author's kit. To register or purchase additional items, please fill in the registration form in the authors's kit also if you want ONLY attend to the conference or tutorials. REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION No registration confirmation will be sent to the registrants before the conference. If your registration has any problem, you will be contacted directly by the CIMSA Conference Secretariat. For your convenience, the list of registrations received to cover papers is shown in the PAPERS' STATUS section of this web site. The above list will be updated periodically. Check the date of the last update before contacting the CIMSA Conference Secretariat and wait for at least 4 working days after your request to allow for its processing.
