The conference site is at Museu e Fórum de Arte e Cultura de Espinho (FACE) at Rua 41 with Av. João de Deus, which is located in Espinho, a city near the Atlantic Ocean and a 20 km from Porto city.

FACE is located in Espinho a fishing town near Porto. FACE is a 10 minutes walking distance away from the city center train station. Easily accessible by public transportation and with the service (tickets) of the subway of Porto named Andante.

 By car:

From the airport of Porto (Francisco Sá Carneiro) head southeast (signs for Porto/Matosinhos/Maia); then follows signs for VRI/Porto/Zona Portuária Leixões/A4/Matosinhos and merge onto VRI; keep right at the fork, follow signs for A4/Matocinhos Centro and merge onto A4; take exit 1 to merge onto A28 toward Porto/A1/Lisboa; take exit onto A1/IC23 toward Gaia/Lisboa; continue to follow A1; take exit onto A44 toward Valadares/Estarreja/A29/Espinho; follow signs for A29; take exit to Espinho/Picoto.  By Metro and Train

This is the most interesting way for reaching the conference from airport, because it is a surface-metro and train with the same ticket (Andante Z6). You just follow Purple line (or line E) to Campanhã and then take the train to Espinho. 

 

 By taxi:

Within the city, the rates charged are those shown in the meter at the end of the ride. But the average fare is calculated at €0.42 per Km after leaving the city limits. Any tolls (round trip) are paid by the client. On Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays, and Monday to Friday between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., a 20% rate applies to normal fares.
