Brian
Rich received a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Electrical
Engineering from the University of Toronto, Toronto, Canada in 1979.
His career began as a research and development engineer researching
an electromagnetic field application of ported coaxial cables to
outdoor perimeter security sensing. In addition to many years of
engineering design experience on a broad range of security sensor
technologies, he also spent several years in development of advanced
trace chemical detectors with a security application to explosives
and narcotics detection. Brian is currently President of Senstar
Corporation, a company involved in design and manufacture of high
technology outdoor perimeter security sensors sold worldwide in
over 80 countries.
Brian
has been a member of the ICCST Executive Committee since 2001, and
hosted the 41st IEEE International Carnahan Conference
on Security Technology in Ottawa, Canada in October 2007.
