Daniel
A. Pritchard received a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering
from the University of New Mexico in 1983 and has been working in
research and development for security applications since 1986. Dan
is now retired from the position of Distinguished Member of Technical Staff in the Security
Systems and Technology Center at Sandia National Laboratories in
Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. While managing projects for a variety
of customers, he stayed involved in technology development
and publish results whenever possible. His main areas of expertise
include imaging, digital signal processing and systems engineering.
Dan has
been a member of the ICCST Executive Committee since 1998, and has
attended ICCST conferences since 1992. He has published many
papers in the area of sensor technology, imaging and system design
and has made many presentations at conferences internationally.
Dan was
the Conference Chair of the 2004 ICCST in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA and of the 2010 ICCST in San Jose, California, USA. Dan recently served as the Organizing Committee Chairman and Treasurer for the 2012 ICCST in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.
