Ron Clifton has been a member of the IEEE ICCST Executive Committee since 1996 and a frequent contributor to the Carnahan Conference since 1981. He has a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and holds several patents in security and surveillance technology. His areas of expertise are in packet networks, Internet technology, sensors and systems integration. Now with the Clifton Group, Ron has been the President and CEO of International Datacasting, and also has considerable international experience working in various leadership roles for Computing Devices Company, Senstar-Stellar Corporation, Hughes Aircraft Company and Daimler-Benz Aerospace.
