Man-Machine Collaboration: Intelligent Systems as Robots
In this Webinar, Dr. Sridhar Raghavan will share his thoughts from his long-time research thrust on Intelligent Man-Machine Collaboration, especially on creative problem solving activities like Decision Making, Software Development and Music. In these contexts, Machines can & do play a range of roles spanning & serving across the continuum from idiot-savants to loosely-coupled autonomous systems. His central conjecture is that Systems are actually Robots, and Robots are actually Systems, and they share a lot of things about collaboration and productivity that can be applied & should be applied seamlessly both ways. He will illustrate the "Perspective Shift" through many common domain examples including the emerging AI Agentic space.
