 ANNUAL TECHNICAL FESTS

The following Annual Technical fests are scheduled to be held during the quarter April to June 2004:

 April 3-5, 2004 - CYBERIA 2004 at SJCE, Mysore. Section representative: Wg. Cdr. Parthasarathy, Treasurer

 5th April 2004  - IDEEA 2004 at SIT, Tumkur Section representatives: Prof. S.Selvarajan, Vice Chair, Dr. T.Srinivas, Technical Activities Chair and Sh. S.Parameswaran, Past Chairman

 April 16-17, 2004 - IMPETUS 2004 at UVCE, Bangalore. Section representatives: Sh. K.Ramakrishna, Vice Chair & Student Activities Chair and Prof. S.Selvarajan, Vice Chair and Wg. Cdr. Parthasarathy, Treasurer

 April 28-30, 2004 - INTELLECT 2004 at MIT, Manipal. Section representatives: Dr. A.Pandian, Secretary and Dr. T.Srinivas, Technical Activities Chair.

 May 10-11, 2004 -  Annual Fest at MSRIT, Bangalore.

 May 2004 - Annual Fest of IEEE Student Branch, NITK, Suratkal.

 New Student Branch at VVCE, Mysore which is in the process of approval by the HQ is also ready to celebrate their annual fest during May 2004, subject to the approval of Student branch.

 2nd IEEE Region10 Student Congress

The nominations received and short listed by the IEEE Bangalore Section are forwarded to the concerned in Region10 for participation in the Student Congress for processing and acceptance. Once names after final selection are received from Region10, concerned candidates will be intimated for making necessary preparations to attend the 2nd Student Congress.

 New Student Branches

Start up kits are sent to the following engineering colleges who are keen in opening the new student branches of IEEE:

• C.M.R. Institute of Technology, Bangalore.

• Amrita Institute of Technology, Bangalore.

• St. Joseph Engineering College, Mangalore.
