Indian Antenna Week 2012
Date: May 27-31, 2012
Venue: Hotel Royal Plaza, Gangtok, Sikkim
Organized by: AP-MTT Calcutta Chapter in association with UGC-NRCPS University of Calcutta.
Detail: AP-MTT Calcutta Chapter in association with UGC-NRCPS University of Calcutta will be organizing the 2012 Indian Antenna Week (IAW) during May 27-31, 2012 at Hotel Royal Plaza, Gangtok, Sikkim. Following the stupendous success of the 2010 and 2011 IEEE Indian Antenna Week (IAW), which were held in Puri and Kolkata, respectively, the 2012 event is being organized in one of the coolest region of the country. Moreover, Sikkim being in the North East of India would allow North eastern participants a much easier access. Students from North East, working in the field of Antennas, will be entitled for full registration fee waiver The meet is planned as a Residential Workshop. The sessions would be singular in nature to attract and sustain focus of all participants. Potential session organizers are welcome to contact for any specific technical topics. The week long event will be interspersed with Tutorials by International Expert, Special & Organized Sessions by Experts from Industry and
Academic, Panel Discussions and Presentations of Contributory Papers

2011 IEEE Applied Electromagnetics Conference AEMC and IEEE Indian Antenna Week IAW
Date: December 18-22, 2011
Venue: Kolkata
Organized by: AP-MTT Chapter, IEEE Calcutta Section in association with UGC-NRC University of Calcutta and is sponsored by IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society and IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society.
Detail: The 2011 IEEE Applied Electromagnetics Conference AEMC and IEEE Indian Antenna Week IAW are scheduled to be held during December 18-22, 2011 in Kolkata, India.
This joint event is organized by the AP-MTT Chapter, IEEE Calcutta Section in association with UGC-NRC University of Calcutta and is sponsored by IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society and IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society. The events are being jointly organized to provide a broad forum for academic interactions with seminars, tutorials and workshops. This would provide an extensive opportunity to the participants for knowledge sharing and exhibition of theoretical and technological development in the general areas of applied electromagnetics. Special program is planned to enhance industry-academia interactions. Potential session organizers from universities, research laboratories, and industries are welcome to contact General Chairs for any specific technical topics. Papers presented at the conference will be archived in IEEE Xplore.

Indian Antenna Week (IAW 2010)
Date: May 31 - June 4, 2010
Venue: Mayfair Beach Resort, Puri, India
Organized by: IEEE AP-MTT Calcutta Chapter
Detail: Indian Antenna Week 2010 is the second endeavour of IEEE AP-MTT Chapter, Calcutta Section after its successful launch of Applied Electromagnetics Conference AEMC as a biennial international event in the city of Kolkata. This has actually evolved from the of AEMC09 statistics, which clearly indicates that the majority of EM researchers in India are active in the domain of Antennas. This was brought to the notice of IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society and their positive feedback has lead us to initiate this activity. The meet is planned for a working week as a Residential Workshop to be held during every summer on rotation basis in different cities of India which attract tourists during that time. The essence of this academic interaction will be different from a conventional workshop or conference since it is a residential one in a star category hotel or resort and the participants would have more opportunity to share their views in a congenial atmosphere.
The sessions would be singular in nature to attract and sustain focus of all participants. Potential session organizers are welcome to contact for any specific technical topics. This event would be the first of its kind in India where only the antenna researchers would gather in a common forum.
