A Joint Chapter of IEEE Antennas and Propagation (AP) and IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques (MTT) Societies was formed under IEEE Calcutta Section by the end of 2003 and this was formally announced in the Section's Annual General Meeting held in January 2004.
