The PGSPC is a new initiative by the IEEE for engaging current Post-Graduate (Master’s & PhD level) students at Indian Universities and Colleges . The CAS & ComSoc chapters of IEEE Calcutta section are jointly organizing this one-day Conference activity. Original research
papers from PG/Ph.D-level students are invited. PG students who are completing their finalsemester by May/June 2010 are also eligible to submit papers. |

Preliminary Submission of Complete 4-page manuscript (in standard IEEE double column format) in pdf & word, with full address, email ID and Telephone #. are requested only by email to P. Venkateswaran at (pvwn@yahoo.co.in). A scanned copy of the certificate from Head of Institute/Principal of college /Ph.D Supervisor must accompany indicating authors’ bona-fide studentship. Over-length manuscript will NOT be considered. The papers will be peer-reviewed and authors of selected manuscripts will be invited for presentation at JU Campus; second class ordinary one-way train-fare/actual TA, whichever is less would be reimbursed on submission of travel documents. Limited accommodation may be arranged on request on payment basis only. Presentations will be reviewed by a panel of judges and the top one paper in each of PG/PhD category of CAS/COMSOC fields will be rewarded with cash prize. All accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings. |

- Notification of Acceptance and invitation for Presentation: 16 Sep. 2010
- Submission of Final camera-ready manuscript in Standard IEEE 2-column format (Times New Roman font-11 with no more than 3 Figs. & one Table) by email to (pvwn@yahoo.co.in), and a non-refundable Registration Fee of Rs.100/- by Cash / Bank Demand Draft favoring ‘IEEE Calcutta Section’ payable at Kolkata, alongwith one hardcopy of the final MS, by Registered Postal mail to P. Venkateswaran, Dept. of ETCE, Jadavpur University, Kolkata – 700 032: 30 Sep. 2010
