The event scheduled to be held at Netaji Auditorium had to be shifted to Vikramshila. IEEE WIE Affinity Group Kharagpur Section organized an eventful Evening on March 29, 2017, to stress upon the fact that the spirit of adventure is essential in life. IEEE Women in Engineering Affinity Group Kharagpur Section and Indian mountaineering foundation (IMF) presented the screening of Mountain Films. A total of 14 short films were screened which covered trekking, rock climbing, kayaking, mountain biking, ice climbing, and much more... Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award winner Mr. Basanta Singha Roy was the Guest Speaker for the occasion. The students showed much enthusiasm and the event garnered a very decent participation from them.
