The IEEE Student Branch, WIE Affinity Group and IEEE EMB Student Club along with the IEEE Kharagpur Section celebrated IEEE Day on 8th October, 2013. The following events were held as a part of the same: Seminar on Open Source Technologies"Configurable kernels in open source operating systems for feasible data management and remote access" by Prof. Chittaranjan Mandal, Department of Computer Science Engineering, IIT Kharagpur Workshop on "LaTeX (Document Type setting for Paper / Thesis Writing)" A Hands-on training for article writing using LaTeX on cloud by Mr. Debdoot Sheet, School of Medical Science and Technology, IIT Kharagpur "What makes IEEE Student Membership Awesome?" An abstract for utilization of IEEE services through student membership by Phani Krishna Karri of School of Medical Science and Technology, IIT Kharagpur The event was attended by around 100 participants from across the campus of IIT Kharagpur. |
