IEEE Singapore Section Women In Engineering Affinity Group was set up on 27 May 2005 by a group of IEEE women members from Polytechnics, Industry, Research Institutes and Universities in Singapore.

Vision

IEEE WIE envisions a vibrant community of IEEE women and men innovating the world of tomorrow.

Mission

Increase the profile of women scientists and engineers for better recognition in the work place and empower them for their career advancement so that they can continue to contribute towards the prosperity and technological developments in Singapore.

Objectives

To provide an avenue for women and men engineers to network
To organise activities to help women in their careers
To assist women in achieving work-life balance

We hope to achieve these objectives by organising activities such as networking sessions, social talks as well technical seminars and workshops, with particular emphasis for women professionals in science and engineering.
