Central Georgia IEEE Section
We are not just for electrial and electronic engineers.
We welcome computer scientists, programmers,
technicians, other engineers, and any others who are interested. We
live in a technological world and we welcome any who would like to gain
understanding. We get briefings on high technology and its impact on
our society. Come and bring a friend.
Got an idea for a meeting? Let the club officers or directors know with an email or
telephone call. Our goal is to meet at least 6 times a year. We generally plan for hour
long meetings, spliting meetings between briefings and plant trips. We usually meet the
third Tuesday of the month (although this is subject to change to
accomodate speakers' schedules) at 6:30 PM. The members of the Central Georgia IEEE chapter number over 300.
We usually meet in Macon or Warner Robins, but have met in Fort Valley, Perry, and Dublin.
Spouses, significant others, etc are welcome to attend the meetings/dinners.
