Chapter Announcement
Although the
chapter has been less than active in the past few years,
the chapter still lists 584 members on its rolls in
Orlando. I would like our members to derive value added
benefits of the local chapter activity and membership.
And I would like to have your input as this is your
society.
-
- For example, the local
Computer Society chapter, in conjunction with the
Communications Society, Signal Processing Society and
Vehicular Technology joint chapter, is planning on
conduction a networking tutorial for the public in 2004.
However, we need your help in finding the appropriate
speakers.
-
- Also, the parent society
offers a distinguished lecturer program that's available
to all chapters. Which topics are of interest to members
of the Orlando chapter? I can't provide DLPs without your
input.
-
- Finally, in order to
appropriately plan and serve our members, I am also
looking for volunteers to run the chapter. We will be
holding elections in early 2004 for chapter officers and
reviewing our operational manual (bylaws).
-
- If you have any
questions regarding the chapter, section or society,
please send me e-mail or call me at +1 407 805-7662
(days) or at +1 407 808-1301 (mobile).
